Kempowell will be working on a new project for long term customer Castleoak. The £10.5 million project at Whiteley Village in Surrey is part of a modernisation programme that will improve the communal facilities for all village residents.

Whiteley Village, the Edwardian retirement community, celebrated its centenary in 2017.  Set in parkland near Walton on Thames, the village includes over two hundred and sixty alms houses, a care home and extra care apartments and is today home to 500 residents of limited financial means.

The new care hub, due to open in Spring 2019, will provide a modern 30-bed care home across two floors plus communal space for residents. Also a bistro style café, offices and health suite will offer facilities for all village residents to enjoy.

The care hub has been designed by Levitt Bernstein and Francis Roberts Architects.
